This fantasy game draws you into the world of monsters, battles and strategies
right on the Sky Arena. If you are not convinced yet, notice that over 90
million users around the globe play the Summoners War daily and enjoy winning

The
monsters are the main characters in this mobile game, but there are lots of
other features that you need to know to be prepared for the battles. The runes
in the Summoners War are especially important for the strength and the power of
your monsters. In this Summoners War Rune Guide you’ll find the basic tips and
descriptions of the runes to give you a strong start at the beginning of the
game.
The purpose
of the runes is to assure bonuses of the Monsters. Even though the monsters are
the main features in the game, you can’t really survive without knowing how to
use these unique attachment stones. Keep in mind that there is not a golden
rule of how to use the runes. The best way to find out what works for you is to
keep playing and trying new settings.
How are where to search for runes?
Start with
the Shops, the Dungeons, Scenario areas and Cairos. Runes are part of different
sets, usually in two or four. Each completed set gives unique bonuses that add
to the Monster’s stats. Every Monster can be equipped with up to six runes at
one time. It is good to remember that you can only remove them if you use Mana
Stones.
There are
different types of runes: Nemesis, Vampire, Endure, Shield, Violent, Revenge,
Will and Despair for dragons, and Blade, Guard, Energy, Swift, Fatal, Focus and
Rage for giants.
The
brackets after the runes show the number of the Monster’s slots they have to
go. If you see the (2), it means you have to place the rune in the second slot.
The
beginners in the game should remember that the slots with numbers 1, 3 and 5
should be respectively, Attack, Defense and HP. Why? These are the slots that
always remain static and flat and they don’t have a % version. The other three
slots are dynamic. 2 is Speed, 4 is Crit Damage% (boost to the damage when
making the critical strike), and 6 is Acc% (enriches the possibility to remove
a buff or to land a debuff).
Let’s go through the stats of the runes:
Res% -
lowers the possibilities of getting a buff removed or for getting a debuff
Atk% -
enriches the given damage output to the enemy
Def% -
lowers the received damage
Acc% -
enriches the possibility to remove a buff or to land a debuff
Spd –
enriches the rate of turns
CritDmg% -
boosts the damage when making the critical strike
CritRate% -
boosts the possibility of multiplying the base attack with CritDmg%
HP% - enriches
the damage that the monster can receive
Runes in
the game also have secondary stats that add bonus to the monster’s stats. Remember
that the secondary effects of the runes are different than the main effect of
the rune. They are applied to the base stats of the monsters by increasing
them.
